Home Care Aides
All of our home care patients requiring hands on assistance will be attended to either a Home Health Aide or a Personal Care Aide, depending on the level of care your care plan calls for. Our Personal Care Aides are assigned to patients who need hands on care, but whose care requirements don’t include assistance with specific medical care. In most cases, this involves helping people with activities of daily living that they can no longer perform themselves, or which may raise safety concerns. These include things like helping a patient in the toilet or bathing, getting dressed and undressed, and preparing and eating meals and shopping. If you also require medical attention, such as medication monitoring or preparation, maintaining catheters or changing a dressing, you’ll be attended by a Home Health Aide.
