Bannister Gift Shop Reopens
On October 13, Bannister Center on Dodge Street in Providence had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand re-opening of the La Bodega resident gift shop. The gift shop hasn’t been open since prior to the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza was on hand for the ribbon cutting. Here, with Bannister leadership and staff present, is 65-year-old Resident Council President Gregory Strong cuts the ribbon with a little help from Mayor Elorza.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony which marked the grand re-opening of the La Bodega resident gift shop at Bannister Center in Providence on October 13, 2021, Providence Mayor Elorza stayed for photo opps with some of the staff.
