Frost the Pony visits Slate Valley Center

On April 15, 2022, WTEN-TV 10 Albany reported that Frost, the Easter Pony, met the residents in person at Slate Valley Center in Granville, a special Easter visit for them. Being toured by Linda Cole, horse handler from Kasey’s Cast-a-Ways in Port Jervis, New York, Frost, a nine-year-old Shetland, was dressed in full Easter gear, cheering up the residents and staff alike, Recreation Director Andrea Kelley spoke about the benefits of this kind of “pony therapy” and it was really nice to have Channel 10 cover this beautiful visit.

As seen both in WTEN and YouTube
