Treats for Hundreds of Health Workers
For the second year in a row, Centers Health Care, the leading network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the northeast, are again treating hundreds healthcare workers throughout New York City, as well as New York State, with ice cream and donut trucks. This is one of the ways that Centers Health Care, now on their 25th year in business, is saying thank you to the hard work hospital workers have done during the COVID-19 pandemic.
From the kick-off that began in June with ice cream and donut trucks at Westchester Medical Center and White Plains Hospital to various New York City hospital visits in the Bronx at St. Barnabas on June 23, Calvary Hospital on June 28 , in Manhattan at New York Presbyterian – Allen on July 6 and then Montefiore Moses campus and in Brooklyn at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn on July 8, hundreds are cooling off with a smile.
Staff working in the company’s nursing homes throughout the northeast and midwest have also been treated as heroes for their post-acute care they have been giving to their residents to keep them safe from the virus where many of the facilities have been receiving local lunch donations from businesses in their communities as they continue their hard work as well.
For Centers Health Care’s ice cream and donut campaign, scheduled visits are secured throughout the rest of the summer ending during the last week of August in areas in upstate New York and into Rhode Island.
