Max Haymaker Returns to Slate Valley

On September 13, Luke McNamee, also known as “Max Haymaker” came to visit the residents at Slate Valley Center in Granville where he played beautiful music over this saxophone. Max, always dressed in a near century-old baseball uniform, was only allowed to play outside at the residents’ windows. He came to each room’s window and residents enjoyed a private sax concert right from their bedrooms. The residents always anticipate Luke’s arrival and get excited when he shows up.
