On January 8, residents and staff at Corning Center on East First Street in Corning got together in the dining room to remember the birthday of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. In addition to playing Elvis music over the loud speakers, the Recreation team went one-step further and had an Elvis-style lunch including Pepsi, orange soda and Elvis’ famous peanut butter and banana sandwiches. The residents loved the sandwiches and expressed their Burning Love for them requesting to serve these as a kitchen mainstay.
