CHC Stewarts Free Ice Cream

Nearly 175 people came to the Stewart’s location on Creek Road throughout the day on August 10 to cool off with free ice cream. Anyone who came into that location between 3:00pm and midnight was offered ice cream, which is all part of a 2021 summer campaign from the folks at Centers Health Care saying thank you for helping for doing your part to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic and to say let’s all get vaccinated now. The campaign also introduced the people of Poughkeepsie to the new offerings Centers Health Care is promoting at their nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and within their rehabilitation locations. In addition to showing up at Stewart’s, Centers Health Care has also been traveling to various hospitals throughout the Capital and Adirondacks region to say thank you to healthcare workers for their hard work since the pandemic began. Centers Health Care Community Liaison for the Capital Region, Danielle Donato, has been heading up each Stewart’s free ice cream outing and the Creek Road event was one of the largest. The New Paltz Center on Jansen Road in New Paltz is the closest Centers Health Care facility to Poughkeepsie.
