Essex Center’s Employee of the Month
Essex Center on Park Street in Elizabethtown, New York has named Jim Ohlsten as the December 2021 Employee of the Month. Mr. Ohlsten was ecstatic when he heard the news. Jim was born in North Tarrytown, New York. Jim has a sister and brother plus his wife Lynn and their two teenage kids. He has been a physical therapist assistant for 24 years and he has worked in sub-acute, home healthcare, and with pre-school children. Jim has worked for Essex Center for over 16 months. His peers nominated Jim because he’s always willing to help everyone. His motto is, “Let’s make the job easier”, and along with his main responsibilities, Jim has been seen passing trays, making beds, helps transport people, helps with exercise classes, and always goes above and beyond for residents as well as his fellow staff. So congratulations Jim on a job well done!
