How Bronx Center Achieved Our Newsweek Ranking
I’m thrilled to announce that, because of our team’s excellent work, Bronx Center was named one of America’s Best Nursing Homes for 2026 by Newsweek, one of just 1,200 across the country. We ranked among the top nursing homes in New York for facilities with 150 beds or more. Read more about it here.
Delivering exceptional care in a building like ours requires more than dedication. It requires commitment, accountability and overall a love for both the work we do, and for our residents and families.
Together, we scored well on key performance data, including clinical quality metrics; peer recommendations; accreditations and resident satisfaction. First, we took a deep dive into the metrics that matter most to residents and families, such as infection prevention, rehospitalization and overall clinical performance. We then implemented stronger quality monitoring systems and achieved meaningful results, including more consistent care protocols and stronger outcomes for residents.
Here’s where our team’s engagement and commitment come in. Interdisciplinary teams regularly review performance data to ensure progress stays on track, and managers keep in close contact with caregivers on the floor to make sure protocols are being followed, and family members are part of the care team. Everyone, from our custodians, to CNAs, to nurses, is focused on keeping our standards high.
We know that resident satisfaction remains central to evaluating quality. At the end of the day, we’re proud to say that we make sure every resident at Bronx Center is superbly cared for, and every family member is heard.
