Martine Center’s Recreation Director Gets CDP Certification

Centers Health Care and Martine Center would like to congratulate Ms. Nicole Brianna Preston, CTRS, CDP, who has recently been accredited as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Ms. Preston is Martine Center’s Director of Recreation and Volunteer Services.

It is inscribed on the certification that says that Ms. Preston obtains comprehensive knowledge in the area of dementia care, achievement in completing the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care seminar, and has met the National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners for the CDP. This certification reflects a deep personal commitment, and inspires confidence and dedication in and individual’s professional knowledge through quality of life and quality of care provided by the Certified Dementia Practitioner and to residents with dementia diagnoses.

Martine Center Administrator Aaron Szydlo says, “Martine Center is truly lucky to have staff, like Nicole, who are dedicated to the residents and, at the same time, wanting to further their education. Congratulations Nicole!”
