Warren Center Joins Centers Family
On December 31, Centers Health Care officially welcomed is newest addition, the Warren Center in Queensbury, NY. Formerly the Westmount Health Facility, Warren Center joins our facilities in Essex, Fulton and Washington counties and expands our ability to better serve the people of the Adirondack region.
Lloyd Cote, who stayed on as the administrator of Warren Center, along with the majority of his staff, was enthusiastic about the switch. \"We’re going to be the same cozy place we’ve always been, providing a warm, comfortable, caring home for the friends and neighbors who live here and the short term residents who come here for some sort of rehabilitation. But now we can all look forward to a lot more. We now have the resources and support of one of the best companies in the industry. They bring a wealth of expertise in nursing, rehab, recreation, operations, and a whole lot more. They’ve already had designers here looking into ways in which can improve the resident experience and lifestyle, and our residents and their families are just as excited as the rest of us.\"
Kenny Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care was equally enthusiastic. \"Whenever we can welcome a facility as fine as this one, with such a great staff and such a wonderful group of residents and families, we’re thrilled. Everyone is excited and everyone on our support team is anxious to pitch in and make this facility even better than ever\".
Care. Support. Positive Outcomes. Centers Health Care.
Centers Health Care provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care for people with a wide range of needs. Whether someone is recovering from surgery, managing an illness or simply needs more support than can be provided at home, our staff is there to help.
The goal is not exactly the same for everyone. It may be returning home, becoming stronger, staying independent or simply feeling better and more comfortable from one day to the next. There will be progress, setbacks and difficult days along the way. Our job is to be there through all of it, and to help each patient or resident get as far as he or she can.
Sometimes that progress comes in large steps. More often, it comes in small ones. Either way, every step matters.
Our Steps to Home series follows patients through rehabilitation and the journey from hospital to home:
