Performance by Ron Bass at Hammonton
A highly well-respected saxist Ron Bass from the Ron Bass and Trio came to Hammonton Center in Hammonton, New Jersey, to play for the residents and staff at the large 240-bed skilled nursing facility on North White Horse Pike on March 3rd. It was an all-out party as Bass got many of the residents up and dancing and the staff on hand joined in.
Known as “SaxCat” and from Clementon, New Jersey, the legendary saxist is originally from the Bronx in New York and has been playing soprano and tenor sax since the age of 18. He continues to perform for weddings, comedy shows, on the Atlantic City circuit as well as for private events. Ron Bass specializes in playing for seniors and is a diverse musician with the ability to play multiple instruments such as drums, flute, and keyboard, but his first love remains the saxophone. Ron can be found performing throughout the Delaware Valley, providing accompaniment for jazz, soft rock, gospel, funk, R&B, and classical genres.
