Centers Urgent Care Lease Signed

The Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG) announced today that Centers Urgent Care, a Medical Care company, has signed a 10-year lease at The Crossings in Hunts Point.

Located in the heart of the Bronx, the 2,000 square foot urgent care facility is scheduled to open in the summer of 2023.

Centers Urgent Care currently has 12 locations throughout the City’s five boroughs with The Crossings site to be their second in the Bronx.

The Crossings, a 40,000 square foot premier retail space in the South Bronx, is located at the corner of Southern Blvd and Hunts Point Avenue and was BDG’s first endeavor in the borough. Ideally located at a prime bus and subway terminal, the location lends itself to easy destination and walkable customers.

Since opening in the fall of 2017, the Crossings has served the Bronx community with a variety of tenants across industry and sector including: McDonalds, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, and Optimum Mobile among others.

\"We are pleased to welcome Centers Urgent Care to The Crossings family,\" said Brad Blumenfeld, Vice President, Blumenfeld Development Group. \"We continue to see the Bronx as an area for growth and expansion and glad we can offer a top provider of health care to the community.”

BDG was represented by Karnit Mossberg of Royal properties and Centers Urgent Care by Sam Hartstein of Gemstone Realty Group LLC.
