Bushwick’s Mardi Gras Celebration

Bushwick Center on Sheffield Avenue in Brooklyn, the 225-bed skilled nursing facility, had a great time celebrating Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday this past week by dressing up New Orleans-style. Additionally, the Recreation Department worked with the facility’s kitchen unit to prepare special Cajun foods and played Southern Delta jazz in many parts of the facility. Here, Brooklynites living at Bushwick Center show off their Mardi Gras masks and necklaces.
