Grandparents Day at Triboro
Residents and staff who are grandparents at Triboro Center on Teller Avenue in the Bronx were treated to delicious sprinkled cupcakes and coffee on September 10 for nationalgrandparentsday.com. This is a special day that is celebrated in a number of different countries, and it focuses on the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. While some countries, like the United States, celebrate that day, other countries have special days for grandmothers and grandfathers. At this 405-bed skilled nursing facility, residents took turns being photographed in front of a very special sign in the auditorium.
