Deptford Nursing Carnival

Nurses, staff, and residents at Deptford Center in Deptford, New Jersey, observed National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) 2022 from May 9th to May 14th by having a facility-wide outdoor carnival right outside of the facility on Clements Bridge Road on May 12. The facility had every carnival game imagined, thanks to Administrator Shragi Weisz and the Recreation Team, led by Director Paige Doumenis. From bean bag tosses to a popular roulette wheel, the nurses had a great time and were recognized for their hard work. NSNCW is a 55-year-old tradition that happens annually following Mother’s Day, established by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
