Christmas Animal Event at Northern Riverview
This year for Christmas, Northern Riverview in Haverstraw did something “wild”, no pun intended. The Recreation team ran a fun and educational event that had to do with animal interaction, an event that became part of their Christmas celebration for 2021. The team brought in a snake, a black bunny, a goat and a chicken. Residents were, not only come face to face with these exotic creatures, but hold and pet them. Recreation Director Lori Silverstein, dressed as Santa, traveled throughout the facility with her team, showed the animals to each resident.
