Corning Breast Cancer Support

For October Breast Cancer Awareness month, Corning Center on East First Avenue right here in Corning, held a Think Pink event where the facility was decorated in pink, as well as the residents and staff were also dressed in pink. At the event, leadership at the 120-bed skilled nursing facility took up a headwear donation to be given to local cancer centers for those patients going through chemotherapy treatment. At the same time, residents were treated to tasty donuts and coffee while learning about the latest advances in breast cancer treatment and prevention.
