Corning Center: Special Breakfast Program
Corning Center, the 120-bed skilled nursing facility, started something new geared towards having residents be more social and meet new people. The East First Avenue facility in downtown Corning began a “Special Breakfast” program on June 28. Fresh omelets were being made-to-order, and vast choices of cheese, ham, onion, and other fixings were offered. Getting these tasty eggs off the griddle fully mirrors what is normally served in a restaurant for breakfast. This great protein breakfast was prepared by Gloria Pratt, the Head of Dietary and Dietician Ceceli Grapevine. The facility plans to offer this treatment on a monthly basis.
