Therapy Pony Visit at Steuben Center
Residents at Steuben Center in Bath, New York, received a very special visit on June 2nd as Dugan the Therapy Pony came to greet them at the 105-bed skilled nursing facility on Rumsey Street Extension. Coming by way of horse-handler Angelia Mack from “Ponies For Purpose” based in Auburn, New York, Angelia toured the facility, visiting the resident’s rooms as well as the recreation dayroom where the residents had been doing arts and crafts at the moment. Ponies For Purpose also visited Ontario Center in Canandaigua later that day before visiting Buffalo and Ellicott Centers in Buffalo and Rochester Center on Saturday, June 3rd.
