Halloween Prep at the Slate Valley Center

On Friday, Oct. 15, residents at Slate Valley Center on State Route 40 in Granville created small hanging ghosts that they could hang in their rooms and throughout the 88-bed nursing facility.
Residents were given white yarn and provided with instructions from Andrea Kelley’s recreation department about creating fun, small hanging ghosts.
“It was so great that they all had fun,” said Kelley. “Now when we visit residents throughout the day we see the small ‘ghosties’ that they made and we love it. Our residents are so creative. I can’t wait to see what they do for Thanksgiving.”
