Mayor’s Endorsement for Center’s Administrator
Read this letter from the mayor of Hammonton recommending Hershy Alter as administrator of the year.
To Whom It May Concern:
We are writing to recommend Hershy Alter for recognition as Administrator ofthe Year- As you know, Hershy became the Administrator of the Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation in Hammonton, New Jersey in April of 2015. Hershy made an immediate impact, not only at the Center but with the Town of Hammonton as well. One of Hershy’s first actions in his new position was becoming acclaimed with the Town of Hammonton. Hershy reached out to Mayor and Council, attended Town Council Meetings and truly became immersed in the town.
In his tireless work to improve the Center, Hershy has forged a great relationship with the town and its elected leaders. He often contacts us for guidance on ordinances, recommendations for local contractors to perform work at the Center and with invitations to events being hosted by the Center. Hershy Alter and the Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation has truly become a good neighbor to our towm and its residents.
In the eleven months that Hershy has been the Administrator of the Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation, he has already exceeded expectations. Recently, the Center was upgraded to a 4-star nursing home facility by the U.S. Department of Health’s Medicare Nursing Home ratings. Additionally, the Center has started a major renovation project, which will no doubt further enhance the facility and its level of care to its patients. In addition to the work within the facility, the Center also hosted a Family Carnival this past summer, which was open to all Hammonton residents, and participated in numerous town events, such as the annual Hammonton Holiday Parade. Hershy has and will continue to make amazing strides in his role as Administrator.
The limits of this letter do not permit us to fully elaborate on all of Hershy’s assets to the Center and our community. His energy and dedication are unparalleled and we strongly encourage you to consider him for this recognition.
