Meet Jo Peterson: New Cooperstown Administrator


Cooperstown Center, the 174-bed skilled nursing facility on Phoenix Mills Cross Road in Cooperstown, NY, welcomes its new Administrator, Ms. Jo Peterson. Ms. Peterson is a resident of Morgantown, West Virginia, where she lives with her husband and their two children. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, where she specializes in long-term care. Ms. Peterson has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) for twelve years and has worked in the long-term care industry for 20 years. She is deeply passionate about the care of residents in long-term care. In her spare time, Ms. Peterson enjoys watching her daughters play softball and volleyball. She also enjoys traveling with her husband to watch Major League Baseball.
Prior to coming to Cooperstown Center, Ms. Peterson was the Executive Director at CommuniCare Health Services in Charlottesville, Virginia, from the end of 2022 into 2023, but spent six years, from 2016 to 2022, as a Nursing Home Administrator with Genesis in Morgantown, WV.
