Music and Entertainment at Ontario

On Friday, August 4th, Ontario Center on County Complex Drive in Canandaigua welcomed music specialist Nathan Merrill and his friends and colleagues from The Arc of Ontario County for a free concert and music education at the 98-bed skilled nursing facility. Residents received a great hands-on music education, and they all loved Nathan’s music. The ARC runs a unique holistic program called Creative Expressions, which addresses the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of people in Ontario County. Nathan has been part of ARC for over five years, and the Creative Expressions Table also teaches skills and techniques that give individuals with disabilities and other challenges tools they can use to interact and engage with others in the community.
