National Bacon Day at Glens Falls
You wouldn’t think anything is happening between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day except for spending quality family time with loved ones or traveling someplace warm, but did you know that December 30 is National Bacon Day? The folks at Glens Falls Center in Glens Falls, New York knew that so they got a tasty jump on that sizzling day by making those comforting mini bacon and egg pies for their residents on December 28. Recreation Director Marijo Natale demonstrated a large tray of those pies to us and the residents couldn’t wait to get theirs.
