National Pet Day at Warren Center
How beautiful is this? April 11, 2023, was National Pet Day, and at the Warren Center in Queensbury, New York, the 80-bed skilled nursing facility had all kinds of pets come in and meet the residents. Linda Cole, the horse handler from Kasey’s Cast-a-Ways in Port Jervis, New York, brought bunnies and sheep, while some staff members brought their doggies. All in all, the residents were all smiling from ear to ear. Warren Center says thank you to Registered Occupational Therapist Kelly Otten for bringing in Josie (a brown dog) and Holly Desnoyers, Activities Director, for bringing in Buffy (a white dog).
