Northern Riverview announces Meliza Polk Employee of the Month
Northern Riverview, the 180-bed skilled nursing facility on Route 9W in Haverstraw, is congratulating Registered Nurse and Unit Manager Ms. Meliza Polk for being named the facility’s December 2022 Employee of the Month. Ms. Polk’s track record at Northern Riverview is superior as she previously been awarded Employee of the Month previously, as well as the Nursing Department’s Employee of the Year. Meliza oversees the challenging Memory Care Unit and does so with a big heart, great compassion, skill, and professionalism. She, and her staff, are advocates for the facility’s residents and care for them like their own families. “We are so fortunate to have Nurse Polk as part of our team and wish her continued success, ” said Recreation Director Lori Silverstein.
