Ontario Center staffs gets recognized for their hard work

Every year towards the end of January, staff who work in activities or recreation departments across the country are noticed for their hard work to keep residents and patients in healthcare facilities happy and active. This year, the week of January 23–27, is when the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) has designated National Activities Professional Week (NAPW) as the time when leadership salutes these highly important workers. Additionally, January 27, 2023, is National Activities Professional Day, and special lunches and other events are scheduled to take place. Photographed here is the activities team, led by director Tammy Voeltz, at Ontario Center, the popular 98-bed skilled nursing facility on Country Complex Drive in Canandaigua, New York.
