Paint n’ Sip at Ontario Center
It was time again for the famous Ontario Center special Valentine’s Paint N Sip, and this year’s theme was the painting of heart trees. The residents did their own take on what a Valentine’s Day heart tree should look like based on a general model, and what a great job they did. Recreation Director Tammy Voeltz had her team at the Canandaigua skilled nursing facility help out with this fun Paint N Sip event on February 7. It was no secret that the residents were extremely proud of their creations.

The goal is not exactly the same for everyone. It may be returning home, becoming stronger, staying independent or simply feeling better and more comfortable from one day to the next. There will be progress, setbacks and difficult days along the way. Our job is to be there through all of it, and to help each patient or resident get as far as he or she can.
Sometimes that progress comes in large steps. More often, it comes in small ones. Either way, every step matters.
