Sigma Rehab Health and Centers Health Care announces Megan Cianciulli from Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond Employee of the Month
Sigma Rehab Health and Centers Health Care have recognized Luxor at Mills Pond Speech Therapist Megan Cianciulli as their Speech Therapist of the Month as the month of May is Better Hearing and Speech Month, recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Ms. Cianciulli has been with the Mills Pond 250-bed skilled nursing facility for two years and is well-loved by the patients she helps and her fellow colleagues. As a graduate of C.W. Post, who also received her Masters from St. John’s University, Cianciulli has always loved the idea of helping people communicate with their families as well as making a positive difference in their lives after a life-changing event.
Equally, she loves helping patients regain their ability to communicate with family and eat foods they enjoy after reaching milestones from hard work. Cianciulli says that Helen Keller has always been an inspiration to her due to her ability to access language and express herself despite visual and hearing barriers.
