National Coffee Cake Day at Slate Valley

With the sweetness of Easter filling the air at Slate Valley Center in Granville, New York, residents there also observed “National Coffee Cake Day”, done with an Easter twist, on April 7, 2022. The facility celebrated the day with coffee and, of course, coffee cakes for everyone. Later that day, the recreation team, led by Director Andrea Kelley, had the residents take part in “What’s in the Easter Basket?”. This is where the residents had to close their eyes, feel what was in the basket, and guess what the item was. It was great fun, and there was laughter heard throughout the facility. Coffee cakes and Easter do go together.
