National Polar Bear Day Celebration

Since February 27 was National Polar Bear Day, residents at Slate Valley Center in Granville, New York, had an educational event on that day as they learned and enjoyed everything there is to know about one of the earth’s strongest mammals. These residents did activity sheets and watched an informative documentary on polar bears while receiving their own little fun polar bears. Slate Valley Center residents have been enjoying the return of in-house animal therapy after a long time without them due to COVID precautions over the past few years. It’s without saying that animals bring lots of joy to everyone.
