Slate Valley Center Families Donate Lunch to Staff

On the same day that staff and residents were vaccinated with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccination on January 13, families of residents at Slate Valley Center on State Route 40 in Granville thanked the staff for their hard work during the COVID-19 crisis. The facility has been known to have “steel curtains” for keeping COVID out of the building and families have been so thankful for the facility’s strict and diligent screening and facility-wide testing of staff and residents. Families sent cards to accompany the lunch and a big “thank you” cake. “Our families are such incredible people,” said Andrea Kelley, Recreation Director at Slate Valley Center. “The residents here are members of our families, so we hope that we are taking care of them very easily.”
