Slate Valley Center residents get creative for Valentine’s Day

Residents at Slate Valley Center on State Route 40 in Granville let their painting and drawings shine once again as they’re all looking forward to next month as the holiday of love, St. Valentine’s Day arrives. On Monday, January 24 these creative residents attended “Painting Class With Bailey” where they each painted their own rendition of a picture of a bear with a heart, all centered around Valentine’s Day. What was great to see is that each resident who painted had their own version of what their piece would look like. Even though brown bears with pink hearts were the majority, some did pink bears with blue around the outside. All that matters is that the residents had a great time. Following the painting class on Monday, music duo Keanen and Orion dropped by to entertain the residents and staff by singing great bluegrass and country classics.
