Steuben Center gets a cute surprise from a Unicorn

[Left, resident Maxine Dartt loves Dugan and right is the always friendly Norman Weber]

Dressed up as a unicorn, Linda Cole from Kasey’s Cast-a-Ways brought in 17-year-old Dugan, a gorgeous pony to visit residents at Steuben Center in Bath on April 26. This was the first indoor visit to the 105-bed skilled nursing facility since before the pandemic and the residents loved every minute of the visit. Recreation Director Kameryn Comstock and her team made the visit possible, an event that the residents won’t forget for some time. During the pandemic, Cole brought her ponies and other farm animals to the windows of the residents which was the next best thing, but nothing is more perfect than an indoor visit happening all over again.

As seen both in 13 WHAM ABC and FOX56 WOLF TV
