Super Bowl Event at Ellicott Center
Ellicott Center on Seventh Street here in Buffalo had an all-out Super Bowl event at the 160-bed skilled nursing facility where more than 40 residents were treated to tasty food, fun, music, and dancing. Even though the Buffalo Bills didn’t make it to Super Bowl LVII, residents, who eat and breathe the Bills, still have a strong football heart as they enjoyed the day rooting for either the Eagles or Chiefs. Recreation Director Stephanie Robinson headed the February 12 event with music and dancing throughout the facility and food in the Dayroom that included smoked sausage, pizza, wings, meatballs, deviled eggs, a cheese and pepperoni platter, mozzarella sticks, pizza rolls, pretzel bites, plus chips, salsa, punch, ice tea, and non-alcoholic beer. All in all, it was a fun day, and the residents are already talking about the bills in 2024!
