Therapy Pony Brings Smiles to Residents and Staff at Ontario Center

Dugan, the Therapy Pony, was a big hit at the Ontario Center in Canandaigua on June 2 as horse handler Angelia Mack from “Ponies For Purpose” who is based in Auburn, New York, toured the facility. Angelia led Dugan throughout the building, visiting residents’ rooms and during the tour, also brought smiles to the faces of the staff at the 98-bed skilled nursing facility on County Complex Drive. Dugan had been at Steuben Center down in Bath earlier that day and then following Canandaigua, traveled west to Buffalo visiting two more Centers Health Care facilities, and back to Rochester on Saturday, June 3rd.
