Springtime Enjoyment at University Center

There have been many upbeat springtime events taking place at the University Center on Grand Avenue in the Bronx this year, and the residents have been enjoying each and every one of them. Inspirational vocalist Emilie Surtees led the residents in song right before the Easter weekend, and even the 46-bed facility’s Recreation Director Keisha Bailey exercised her excellent vocal cords while sitting in with a jazz band that played for the residents. A delicious “spring fling” brunch took place on April 13, and two days later, the facility had a grand opening of their in-house store, where the residents shopped as well as played bingo and dominoes for fun.
