Washington Center celebrates National Social Workers Month
In recognition of National Social Workers Month, the Washington Center in Argyle, New York, treated the staff to a full-blown tasty lunch on March 3rd. Amanda Coppolo, the administrator of the 122-bed skilled nursing facility on State Route 40, says that everyone works so hard at their jobs, especially the social workers who work with residents every day to identify their psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and then provide and develop services to meet those needs. Then they look to implement policies and create an environment that will help the residents meet their various needs.
