Fun Week at Ontario Center

Ontario Center in Canandaigua has been celebrating National Nursing Home Week this week as they have designated each day to do something very special and fun for the residents and the entire staff. The Recreation Department, led by Director Tammy Voeltz, began the week with a crazy socks day where the staff had the residents laughing at the many crazy socks that were worn on Monday the 15th. Then there was Hawaiian Day where the facility served authentic sweet Hawaiian dishes for lunch and many of the staff were dressed in Hawaiian luau leis and skirts. Finally, let’s not forget the free cold tasty ice cream treats for everyone from the Lugia’s truck.
