Williamsbridge Center achieves Gold Status
A big Congratulations to Williamsbridge Center on Tomlinson Avenue here in the Bronx as the skilled nursing facility that has 77 beds, was given Gold status under the American Heart Association Target: BP program for 2023. Target: BP is a national initiative formed by the AHA and the American Medical Association (AMA) in response to the high prevalence of uncontrolled blood pressure (BP). Target: BP helps healthcare organizations and care teams, at no cost, improve BP control rates through an evidence-based quality improvement program and recognizes organizations committed to improving BP control. Gold certifies practices that have 70 percent or more of their adult population with high BP controlled.
