Granville Successful Rehab

This is a perfect example of how both personal determination and successful rehabilitation were keys to a happy discharge home. Michael Mead, 67, of Granville, New York, is now a former resident of Slate Valley Center, also in Granville. Mr. Mead fractured his right fibula back in November 2022, and after a hospital stay, he was taken to the 88-bed skilled nursing facility for rehab. After the solid occupation and physical therapy, plus Michael’s strong willingness to get better, he went home on January 30, 2023. Here, Slate Valley Center staff and leadership cheer on Mr. Mead’s exit from the State Route 40 facility with his wife Deborah by his side.

As seen both in WCAX-TV and Granville Sentinel, Granville, NY
