When I was admitted to Essex Center I was in a wheelchair and non-weight bearing due to reconstructive surgery of my right ankle/foot. I can now walk and transfer with a CAM ( Controlled Ankle Motion) boot. I would recommend Essex Center to anyone needing short term rehab- they got me moving again.
