Carthage “Care That Moves You”

Residents and staff at Carthage Center on West Street in Carthage, New York, had a great time on August 2nd during Centers Health Care’s “Care That Moves You Day”. The facility got everyone moving and energetic by forming a conga line while moving to the Miami Sound Machine’s popular 1985 dance hit, “Conga”. Care That Moves You Day is significant for seniors because it’s all about “moving”, and it has been found that movement fights against loneliness and isolation at skilled nursing facilities.
