Centers Health Care is One of 18 Companies Named as a “Best Places to Work” by the Business Intelligence Group

Bronx, NY—February 25, 2019—The Business Intelligence Group today announced that it has awarded Centers Health Care, a Best Places to Work for 2019, one of two companies listed in the “Large Business” category. The organization sought to identify companies that are actively working to improve their own performance through efforts to challenge employees in environments that makes work fun and engaging.

“We are so proud and honored to be chosen as a 2019 Best Places to Work award finalist by the Business Intelligence Group,” said Kenny Rozenberg, Chief Executive Officer of Centers Health Care. “In addition to the residents and families we serve every day, our staff, both clinical and corporate, are the most dedicated people, truly loving what they do. They are making a big difference in the lives they are helping on a daily basis.”

“Congratulations to Centers Health Care for building an organization focused on employee engagement and performance,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear from analyzing the employee survey data that this is a great place to work and employee feedback is not only listened to, but acted upon. Congratulations to the entire team.”

Centers Health Care is one of the largest and most complete post-acute health care continuums in the northeast. The Centers Health Care family includes nearly 50 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Missouri and Kansas. In addition, the Centers continuum includes Home Health Care, Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC), Adult Day Healthcare, Assisted Living, two state-of-the-art Renal Dialysis Centers, and Centers Urgent Care providing walk-in medical care. More than 24,000 dedicated staffers and caregivers provide for the needs or over 9,000 long-and short-term residents throughout the Centers Health Care family.

Centers facilities are well-known as innovators in the industry, pioneering new services and protocols to ensure their residents are not only medically cared for in a safe, clean and nurturing environment, but that they enjoy their lives to the fullest each day. Through their family of skilled nursing facilities, Centers Health Care offers acute and sub-acute care, welcoming patients with very diverse needs including those on ventilators, bariatric patients, and those suffering with heart failure, HIV, AIDS, dementia or in need of dialysis or specialized nutritional services including TPN.

The Business Intelligence Group was founded with the mission of recognizing true talent and superior performance in the business world. Unlike other industry and business award programs, business executives—those with experience and knowledge—judge the programs. The organization’s proprietary and unique scoring system selectively measures performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers.
