Meet Registered Nurse Carrie Badjie
Carrie Badjie lives by the mantra that she does not need much — and whatever extra she does have should go to others.
A licensed practical nurse since 2003, Badjie, 42, has dedicated her career and her life to serving others. She has worked at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing since 2014, even as she completed her registered nursing degree at the Fulton-Montgomery Community College, where she graduated from this past May.
She earned six awards upon graduating, including the American Nurses Association’s New York Future Nurse Leader award, making her the only recipient in the Capital Region. She says the honors have pushed her to become even better and live up to the potential that others see in her.
