The numbers are impressive. UDSMR, the world’s largest government-independent repository of rehabilitation outcomes, ranks Martine Center in the top 3% nationwide in a variety of categories. In the top 3%:

  • of all Sub-Acute Rehab facilities participating in UDSMR nationwide
  • compared to over 6,000 Sub-Acute Rehab patient cases nationwide
  • the level of independence when compared to over 12,900 rehab cases nationwide

Impressive numbers for sure, but what exactly does it all mean? More important are the stories behind the numbers—patients who have entered Martine Center unable to walk or talk or eat, debilitated by injury, illness or surgery, and who are sent back home on their own two feet. Who can shower on their own, cook on their own, join their family around the dinner table, and even go back to work. The numbers reveal that Martine Center gives patients their lives and their independence back.

The numbers, the rankings and the percentages are all representative of success. But at Martine Center true success is not measured by the numbers. It’s measured by the people who come to the facility in pain—physically and emotionally—and get the healing help they need, leaving stronger and healthier than ever.
