Ellicott Center on Seventh Street in downtown Buffalo and Sigma Rehabilitation congratulate Occupational Therapist (OT) Ms. Taylor Williams as she joins the facility’s Rehabilitation Leadership team as the new Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) at the 160-bed skilled nursing facility. Arriving at Ellicott Center in January 2020, Ms. Williams immediately made a solid positive impact on her patients and her colleagues in the department. With several years in therapy under her belt before coming to Ellicott Center, she was at the University of Buffalo from 2013 to 2019, where she her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

After being named as the new ADOR, Ms. Williams said, “I have had so many incredible experiences, including expanding into my lymphedema certification, increasing my hand therapy skills, and maximizing splinting opportunities within the SNF setting. I have gained such valuable experience and knowledge within the OT profession through working here.”

Thank you to everyone who has consistently shared their guidance, wisdom, and knowledge, allowing me to gain great experience and grow in my skills as an OT practitioner. I am very grateful for this opportunity and aspire to continue helping patients on their journey to independence and success, as I continue to build my managerial skills within the therapy profession.”
