Retirement Celebration for Northern Manor Staff
Northern Manor in Nanuet bid a tearjerking farewell to two well-loved longtime employees on July 26, 2023 with a heartfelt and upbeat retirement party for both of them. The two legendary honorees were Rehabilitation Director Patricia Vallon (white lab coat), who has been employed at the North Middletown Road facility since October 1991, and Janna Mancini LPN (peach shirt) a licensed practical nurse, off and on, since 1985. Both new retirees don’t have any immediate plans for the near future, but they are both looking to spend a lot more time with their families and possibly do some travel. The send off was put together by Recreation Director Michael Berman and his team who did a great job with catering the food, having a live DJ and made sure the gifts and cards were all taken care of. They both received a Michael Kors purse, retirement plaques and fun retirement mugs, and each staff member of the facility donated whatever they wanted to as part of the facility’s going away present. The two newly former staffers were honored separately recently as well. Ms. Mancini was selected last month as the facility’s June 2023 Employee of the Month and Ms. Vallon became the July 2023 employee of the month, which was announced during the retirement event.
