Recognizing that there was a serious lack of advanced post-acute cardiac care in the Bronx, Centers was determined to fill that void—and to do it in an exceptional way. This Cardiac Unit is the realization of that mission. As a result, we’re introducing new and innovative technologies to bring optimum care to all of our cardiac patients. The first cardiac program in a post-acute facility in New York to be certified by the American Heart Association, the unit is overseen by a board-certified cardiologist and features stat labs, onsite x-rays, EKGs & echocardiograms, and 24/7 monitoring of patients with our Cardiac Telemetry Program.
